Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) that uses a soft-edged tool over the skin to restore circulation in areas of pain and stagnation (including scar tissue or muscle "knots,"). In practice, Gua Sha is used along the face and neck to promote lymph flow, to relieve pain and emotional tension held in the chest and back, as well as preventing the common cold during a change of seasons. This traditional therapy is just as functional as it is versatile in its healing ability.
